LLART 188 - Botanical Drawings Transformed into Screenprints

Class participants will learn basic sketching and observation techniques to help them draw plants, then turn their drawings into original silkscreen prints. Students will meet at the Lifelong Learning building, 540 Arapeen Drive, for the first class session. Then for the next two sessions, students will meet at Saltgrass Printmakers to learn the basics of screen printing including how to create multicolored blended backgrounds.
