Description
So, you're ready to start submitting some of your polished poems, short stories, and essays for potential publication in a literary journal? In this session, students will learn the ins and outs of getting their written work ready for publication. Whether you have a short story or a few poems, the session will help guide you through the preparation process, how to find the right place to submit to, and ways to work through rejection--it happens! Taught by a widely-published writer and experienced book and literary journal editor, this class will give students first-hand knowledge of what editors look for and how to make their work stand out among the slush pile.
