Description
This doctoral-level seminar course introduces students to major epistemologies and theoretical approaches in the field of urban and regional planning. The course considers how these philosophical movements have evolved over time; the interactions between these movements; and how they inform current urban planning research. Students will explore how to frame their own dissertation research in the context of these theories, as well as how to improve reading comprehension and writing skills.
