Description
This course is a systematic introduction to basic experimental principles needed to conduct field and lab scale tests for common environmental engineering and science processes. The first half of this course primarily focuses on field scale experiments and the second half on lab scale unit operations. After getting a passing grade in this course, students will be able to design some of the common surface water quality and environmental process engineering related experiments independently. Data analysis using applicable statistical tools is a key component of this course. This course is useful for research students as well as for practicing engineers.
