Description
Procedural Art Generation introduces students to procedural asset development for games. Including VFX, simulations, 3d animation, and asset tool building.The course covers procedural modeling, procedural shaders/materials, procedural texturing, procedural terrain heightfields, procedural destruction, VFX assets for particles, flow-maps, dynamic simulations (fire, explosions, clouds, water), procedural character rigging, etc. This course is a project-based course and will require time outside of class to succeed. Students will use the latest professional software and implement into the latest game engine.
