Course Components:
This course explores what it means to teach about social justice in higher education, given that such courses typically have been preceded by years of mis-education and are primed for conflict. Although the course will make some recommendations, the focus will not be on best practices or solutions, but on exploring the issues from a number of angles. The course is designed to be of particular interest to teaching assistants and doctoral students who hope to gain experience teaching at the college level, but it is open to all master's and doctoral students.
