Description
This course focuses on the problems of literary adaptation for the screen and particularly on special structural attributes of the short film. Students read short stories and view and analyze film versions of the same stories focusing on character development, setting, form and structure. Students then workshop a number of script adaptations and the class culminates with a filmable script from a story of the students choice.
