Description
Great Decisions is the United States' largest world affairs discussion group program. For more than sixty years, the Foreign Policy Association has picked the eight most relevant world affairs topics that concern the United States and has compiled them in a book for America's general populace to enjoy. This course will invite subject matter experts who will lead a class discussion. The examination of these topics will generate further depth and understanding of how they affect the United States nationally and globally. The course topics for this term are Global Supply Chains and National Security, Persian Gulf Security Issues, Brexit and the European Union, Struggles Over the Melting Arctic, China's Role in Africa, The Korean Peninsula, Roles of International Organizations in a Global Pandemic, and The End of Globalization.
