Description
This course will present a brief history of screenplays and analysis of the accepted format, character development, theme, and structure. By examining some well-known movies, we will identify the simple structure of storytelling and present a brief introduction to the seven-act structure. It will be helpful for each class member to have access to Netflix and Amazon video streaming. We will study historical genres in film, explain new trends in genres, and introduce software used for screenwriting. After this course, you will be informed and ready to start telling your story for film!
