OSHER 698 - Rhythm Ukulele

This class will focus on learning new styles and rhythms for playing ukulele, including strums, plucking and picking patterns, and breaking down rhythms and counting. Learn how dynamics and combining rhythms will breathe new life into songs. You should be at an advanced-beginner or intermediate level, ready to add three new songs and rhythmic styles per week to your repertoire. What will be taught each week can be flexible, depending on the level of the students enrolled. Bring your own ukulele. We will play in standard (GCEA) tuning, low G preferred but not mandatory. Instructor will supply materials.
