PRTL 1224 - 002 NR-Desert Backpacking


This course provides students with skills required for overnight backpacking, including backcountry skills, risk management, resource management issues, and enrironmental ethigs associate with backpacking in desert lands. The pre-trip meeting will cover how and what to pack, with a focus on lightening your load. Class meets on-campus on Mar. 29 only. Attendance at first class meeting is mandatory. Field experience will be from Apr. 8th to Apr. 10th.
