Description
This course comprises the second semester of a two-semester sequence, designed to examine human movement as a vital identifier of culture throughout history (focus on 20th and 21st Century). The course continues the work of critically examining dance and movement histories. Varied forms are examined in a non-hierarchical and intersectional way to consider how the development of dance, ritual, and performance in recent history reflects and challenges socio-political currents.
