Description
Rigging for Games is an in-depth study of the art and science of rigging 3d models for animation applications. The course is focused on the context of real-time systems or game engines, but the concepts are applicable to all aspects of 3D computer animation. Typically, rigs are built with the express purpose of providing user control systems for animating characters such as human bipeds, animal quadrupeds, fish, fowl, and all sorts of creatures, hair, face, cloth, natural phenomena, etc. This class focuses primarily on biped characters along with some of the aforementioned topics, and basics of rigging automation topics using scripting.
