Description
This graduate seminar examines cutting-edge scholarship in the history of American education. Throughout the semester, this seminar will explore two overarching questions: How do historians excavate the educational past? How, if at all, can the past inform and influence educational policy? Using recent historiography as both a model and a muse, students will write a lengthy historical research paper or historiography paper. Meets with ECS 6852.
