Description
This course will provide an overview of commercial real estate capital markets, including an examination of the principles and fundamentals of real estate finance which affect a real estate professional's decision regarding the capitalization of real estate acquisitions (and disposition timing). The focus will be on case studies which emphasize the key concepts and decisions associated with financing commercial real estate transactions. This will involve reviewing debt and equity terms sheets from actual transactions. After successfully completing this course, students will have an enhanced understanding of how to effectively capitalize a real estate transaction.
