Prerequisites: Acceptance to the Genetic Counseling Graduate Program OR Instructor Consent.
Description
This course is tailored to address the skills genetic counseling students need to successfully complete their graduate research project requirement. Topics covered include qualitative research methods, informed consent, IRB applications, and research presentations. This course will enable the student to understand research methodologies, apply learned skills to develop their own research, and provide a basis for critical review of medical literature.
