Description
This course will focus on understanding of correlations between the underlying polymer structure and the properties of polymeric materials. The course will cover topics of phase behavior, dynamics and transport properties, mechanical and viscoelastic properties of homopolymers and their blends, block copolymers, polymer solutions, and polymer composites. Students will be required to pass a midterm and a final exam and prepare a presentation on a topic of polymers applications in modern day technologies.
