Description
This is the second of three didactic courses which will address pathophysiological mechanisms, common presentation and current evidence-based guidelines for treatment of specific diseases presented during the semester. In addition, the student will learn to analyze and synthesize patient data in order to formulate a differential diagnosis and possible treatment plan. Identification of outcomes for patients with acute, critical, and/or complex chronic illnesses will be addressed.
