Description
This second course in the year-long statistics sequence provides students with theoretical and practical understanding of the logic and application of selected advanced statistical procedures. Students will learn how to analyze data in the generalized linear framework, including both general and generalized mixed models. This will include introductions to the topics of logistic regression and analysis or ordinal and count data. These topics will then be expanded to the multilevel context. The course includes a brief introduction to the topic of structural equation modeling, laying the ground work for subsequent advanced study. The course sues the SPSS for Windows and AMOS statistical packages for data processing and analysis.
