Description
The purpose of this course is to provide the student with a comprehensive understanding of the role of the audiologist and implementation of audiology services in all education settings. Topics to be covered include historical and current policy in regards to educational audiology services, roles and responsibilities of the educational audiologist, hearing screening and assessment, collaboration with other team members, the audiologist’s role in Individualized Education Plans, professional collaboration within communities, and program development, management and evaluation.
