Description
For musicians and non-musicians alike, this introductory course into music production uses the latest computer technology for creating, recording, and writing music. Learn the basics of music notation, MIDI control, mic types and placement strategies, digital audio editing, Apple loops and beats, mixing (panning, reverbs and delays, submasters) and software instruments and synthesis. You will also get hands on experience with microphones, sound boards and speakers. Then take a field trip to a professional recording studio and see how the experts do it. Mic drop!
