Crisis Leadership-this course emphasizes human behavior concepts and leadership principles essential to successfully manage crisis and high stress situations. Personal leadership effectiveness during such periods is enhanced through self-assessment, preparation/planning, and studying the practices of exemplary leaders facing critical moments. Methods of managing during a crisis are introduced through discussion of topics such as strategic vision, persuasive communication, consensus building, team dynamics, and fast action. Cases, group discussion and team exercises are used extensively in the course. Class meets on Thursdays 11/3/2022-12/1/2022.
