Description
This class is designed to help graduate students hone their scientific writing skills through hands-on work on the “specific aims” page of a research proposal. It is intended for graduate students who have already begun a PhD research project. Each student should leave the course with a high-impact document that could serve as the nucleus of a prelim proposal or a fellowship application. Along the way they will have learned a number of important principles about the construction of scientific narratives, in addition to having improved their practical writing skills.
