Description
This course will introduce students to the employment laws in America beginning with the National Labor Relations Act through contemporary labor and employment issues today. Topics typically include collective bargaining, private and public strikes, unfair labor practices, discrimination in its different forms, sexual harassment, glass ceiling and equal pay issues, disability issues, dealing with the EEOC, filing charges with the Utah's Department of Labor, and current issues in benefits, human resources, and right to work laws.
