OSHER 14 - Great Decisions

Great Decisions is the United States' largest world affairs discussion group program. For more than sixty years, the Foreign Policy Association has picked the eight most relevant world affairs topics that concern the United States and has compiled them in a book for America's general populace to enjoy. This course will invite subject matter experts who will lead a class discussion. The examination of these topics will generate further depth and understanding of how they affect the United States nationally and globally. Topics for this term include: President Biden's agenda, drug policy in Latin America, Myanmar and ASEAN, Russia and U.S. relations, South Pacific Island Nations - economies, governments, issues, and alignments, and climate change.
