OSHER 470 - Jordan River Critters

Experience the wealth of plants and wildlife along the Jordan River in this exciting, active course! Each week, students will enjoy a nature walk along the Jordan River Parkway while discussing key plant or animal species that are representative of a trophic level of the Jordan River ecosystem. By the end of the course, students will be familiar with the entire ecosystem, from decomposers to apex predators. Instructors will provide a short weekly reading to allow students to familiarize themselves with class content in advance.
