Description
This course explores the practical application of contemporary color theories, focusing on the interaction and relativity of color. Students will develop a working color vocabulary through a series of projects illustrating the seven color contrasts. Additionally, the course offers opportunities to explore the psychological aspects of color, personal preference, and historical and symbolic meanings of color. Students will gain a basic and practical understanding of the principles of design, mixing color, and handling of paint and art materials.
