Description
The Environmental and Sustainability Studies Program offers a broad, inter-disciplinary education. Students take classes from many different departments and colleges across campus, exposing students to a multitude of ideas, theories, methodologies, and perspectives. The capstone course serves as an opportunity to integrate and synthesize these diverse learning experiences. Students will engage, assess, and apply prevailing theories, models, and concepts of environmental and sustainability issues. They will also reflect on their role as educators, communicators, and responsible citizens. Finally, students will complete a project that utilizes their conceptual skills and what they have learned in their courses.
