Description
This course expands on the core finance topics introduced in BCOR 3020. The course will provide an analytical framework for evaluating financial management decisions. Topics include value maximization, financial statement analysis, the basics of financial markets and securities, risk and return, cost of capital, working capital management, risk management, an introduction to capital structure choices, alternative funding mechanisms such as crowdfunding, as well as evaluating assets and investment projects through discounted cash flow analysis.
