Description
NURS 7060 introduces the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) role by providing foundational content necessary for advancement to patient care clinical experiences. Students will work with NNP faculty in the classroom to develop beginning clinical competence through application of didactic knowledge specific to the neonatal specialty. The concepts of clinical and diagnostic reasoning, patient presentation, and clinical documentation are introduced. Students will begin to develop knowledge and skills within the NNP domains of professional role and professional practice.
