Description
In this hands-on, one-week course, students will work directly with professionals to plan and create their own music videos. Students will spend the week working in teams of 3-4 people to plan, film, and edit a music video. They will start the week with a brief overview of key concepts in film filmmaking, legal issues surrounding music usage, and what makes a music video good or bad. Then they will dive directly into the pre-production phase of their music videos. They will create Audio/Visual sheets, shot lists, and map out their film day. On film day students shoot video using DSLR cameras. They will edit their projects in the computer lab where they will have access to Adobe Premiere Pro. They will learn editing techniques and best practices. The week will conclude with a screening for parents. Co-Sponsored with Working With Lemons.
