This course has an experiential learning, field-based component in which the class will go on a camping trip in southern Utah. This trip contributes to a substantial percentage of a student’s grade. The camping trip will be held Oct. 4-8th 2023. Please email the instructor at amy.mcdonnell@psych.utah.edu with your interest, to see if you meet the pre-requisites for this course, and for a permission code. In your email, be sure to include a screenshot showing you’ve completed PSY 1010 or PSY1011 with a “C” or better or earned a 3 or higher on the AP Psych test or 5 or higher on Psychology IB Score" If the prerequisites are not met by the start of the Fall term, you will be dropped from the course. The course does NOT have an HONORS Designation. This course is NOT recommended for Psychology Honors Students as it will not count toward an Honors Psychology Elective.
