Description
This course is designed as a general introduction to plant physiology, and covers different levels of structure and function, from the molecular to the whole-plant level. Topics include the structures and function of critical enzymes, growth, development, and adaptation to changing environmental conditions. The emphasis in this course is on seeing biological principles in a context that will enable the student to apply these concepts in a new situations. It is recommended that BIOL 3340, Introductory Plant Biology, is completed prior to taking this course.
