Description
Reinforced masonry design, including properties and performance of masonry materials, design criteria and methods in reinforced masonry, and design examples including reinforced masonry walls, masonry columns and pilasters, and rectangular beams. Design of beams, columns, trusses, and diaphragms in wood. Design of glue-laminated beams. Design of wood connections. Use of timber design codes and uniform building code.
