Description
Sustainable and Equitable Food Systems LEAP takes a close look at food and water systems, and grassroots efforts to ensure sustainable, broad access to fresh, nutritious, affordable, culturally-appropriate food, and adequate clean water. Through dynamic community engaged learning, you will connect with groups across the U campus and in the Salt Lake Valley whose missions align with food justice. This course also includes the opportunity for an alternate break to the U's own Bonderman Field Station at Rio Mesa. (riomesa.utah.edu)
