Description
Somatic movement is the use of gentle, safe movements to aid in managing chronic pain; improving balance, flexibility and posture; relieving day-to-day stress; increasing athletic performance; decreasing risk of injury; and shortening recovery time. Without stretching or force, learn how to restore comfort and flexibility with slow, natural, yawn-like movements that keep muscles functioning optimally. By the time we're done, you will have a simple self-care routine which will gently release and realign your body. No experience necessary; this class is accessible for all ages and abilities.
