Description
The Capstone experience is part of the required supervised practice requirement that provides dietetic students the opportunity to apply skills in clinical practice, food service management, and community settings under the supervision of qualified preceptors. Students in the Coordinated Masters Program in Dietetics must complete 1000 hours of supervised practice to be eligible for the National Registration Exam administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). Students enroll in a total of six credits to complete 300 hours of the 1000 hour supervised practice requirement. *Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics
