Description
This course will provide an opportunity for students to examine basic immunological mechanisms underlying immune dysregulation with focus on autoimmunity and immunodeficiency. The course is a combination of lecture, primary literature analysis, and in class discussion. Classes will be moderated by a group of faculty with relevant research backgrounds. The course will provide an opportunity for students to apply their basic immunology knowledge toward understanding how perturbation of specific immunological pathways or cells leads to disease.
