Prerequisites: Selection to EPAC Cohort.
Description
The 1-2 year curriculum partners students and core clinical faculty for the longitudinal development of clinical skills in a mentored learning environment. Each students is assigned to a learning community with 1-2 core faculty members. Students will work within their learning communities to gain the core foundational clinical method knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors necessary to provide optimal patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. Half of the student's clinics will be conducted in an academic general pediatrics clinic. For the other half, students will be given an opportunity to explore a pediatric sub-specialty or community pediatrics clinic.
