This course views entrepreneurship as a search for the roots of value - how it is created, and potentially how it is captured. Students will learn to generate theories of value and opportunities for entrepreneurial action, and apply different approaches to screening them. Additionally, students will learn how to identify, design, enact, and interpret experiments that reveal an opportunity's value. The course also will introduce students to methods of enrolling stakeholders such as co-founders and resource providers in supporting the endeavor. At the end of the course, students will be able to effectively wield a set of capabilities and distinctions that create (or reveal) value in entrepreneurial endeavors. Recommended Prerequisite: ENTP 1020.
