Description
Photo editing has a wide scope, from cropping and simple exposure adjustments to localized enhancements, sharpening, noise reduction and color corrections to creating sophisticated effects, combining images, and more. Each week you'll examine a different level of editing software--the free utilities that come with your device, intermediate programs like Adobe Lightroom, and heavyweights like Adobe Photoshop. Along the way we'll talk about how images are represented and stored, the pros and cons of RAW and JPEG, how to use histograms, and recommended workflows. You'll walk away from this class knowing the basics of editing and which type of program will work best for you.
