Description
Jorge Luis Borges is one of the greatest masters of the twentieth-century short story. His twisting and labyrinthian philosophical fictions are both entertaining to read and endlessly fascinating to think about. Full of puzzles, mirrors, paradoxes of consciousness, the interplay of different realities, and great storytelling, Borges's fictions have been hugely influential through world literature and yet remain inimitable. We'll read a generous selection from his Collected Fictions, translated by Andrew Hurley.
