Description
In this course, learners will review quantitative methods for educational scholarship and discuss some of their subtypes, or designs, and the type of data that they generate. The course focuses on surveys or questionnaires as one type of instrument commonly used in educational research to measure knowledge, attitudes, characteristics, satisfaction, or symptoms. In the course, learners will engage with multimedia resources to learn about general approaches and frameworks, data collection, and data analysis related to survey research. Learners may find this course useful in drafting a methods and analysis plan for their Capstone scholarly project.
