Description
Retirement is one of the most important transitions in our lives, and this class is designed to provide a learning community for people who are in the transition into retirement. This class is designed for University of Utah employees who either are planning a retirement soon, or who have recently retired. Retiring or retired people outside of the U of U system are also welcome. Participants will have an opportunity to get to know other folks who are in the retirement transition as we explore together the eco biopsychosocial spiritual aspects of retirement, which include the economic, physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual aspects of our lives. The class is co-taught by Linda Dunn, former Director of the University of Utah Bennion Center, and David Derezotes, retired Professor of Social Work and Peace and Conflict Studies Director at the U.
