Description
Forensic anthropology uses physical anthropology, archaeology, and medical-legal investigation procedures to describe and identify human remains. This course will give students a general understanding of forensic anthropology within the broader context of the forensic sciences. Students will gain basic knowledge of the human skeleton, including dentition and will learn methods for description and identification of human remains. They will also be introduced to case studies that demonstrate the actual practice of forensic anthropology.
