Description
This course provides Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) students with essential knowledge and skills needed to complete a research project, such as the Au.D. Capstone Project required for graduation. Assignments and activities will be applied to the student’s Au.D. Capstone Project when possible, otherwise the instructor will provide the student with simulated projects. Topics include analyzing research data, visualizing and tabulating research data, interpreting study findings, writing sections of a research manuscript, and presenting research findings. Coverage of these topics is intended to support and complement (but not replace) mentoring efforts among the student and the faculty advisor supervising the Au.D. Capstone or another research project.
