Description
Students learn the theory and application of techniques and tools used for the design of feedback control systems, specifically in the frequency (Laplace) domain. Topics covered include Laplace transforms, steady-state error, Routh-Hurwitz stability criterion, root locus, Bode, and Nyquist techniques for continuous and sampled systems. Course also covers the design of lead, lag, and PID controllers.
