Description
The Environmental Crimes course will discuss investigations of alleged criminal violations of federal pollution and wildlife laws. Topics typically include charging decisions, proving the case, sentencing, restitution, and how counsel can advise their clients to avoid these issues. This class typically covers criminal provisions of the Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, RCRA, the Lacey Act, the Migratory Bird Treaty Act, and others.
