Description
This course applies concepts of population health to the care of individuals and communities that nurses encounter in a variety of settings at the local, national, and global level. The nursing role in population management includes health promotion, wellness, chronic disease management, and care transitions applied to mental and physical health. Principles of diversity, equity, inclusivity and ethical practice are emphasized.
