Description
This course will train students in the processes of applying statistical methods in biomedical research. Students will practice the steps of 1) Defining the research question 2) writing analysis plans, 3) developing statistical software for data analysis, 4) quality control and 5) writing statistical reports. The statistical content of the course will focus on regression methods, with a focus on linear and generalized linear models and Cox regression models.
